Well, I guess most people think there’s just one world. So it’s automatic to say, “the world.”

そうですね。こう思いますよ。大部分の人はworldはただ1つある、と思っています。そうすると、自動的に(1つしかない)the worldと言うことになりますね

But in this case, we’re imagining a world. So, you can imagine your world. I can imagine mine.

でも、この場合、私たちはあるworldを想像しているのです。あなたにはあなたのworldを想像できますし、私は私のworldを想像できます

There are all kinds of different worlds we can imagine.

私たちが想像できるありとあらゆる種類のworldがあります

In this case, a world free of war and poverty. So, “a” is when you imagine your own world.

この場合は、戦争や貧困のない(種類の)worldなのです。ですから、あなたがあなた自身のworldを想像する際に、aは存在しているのです

Well, for me, “grab” is basically just the action of reaching out and catching something.

“Grasp” really has that image of holding on to the information. You really get it.
